A sensual musical journey

Music experienced with all the senses - that is what the concerts of the Philharmonic Five stand for. Three musicians from the ranks of the Vienna Philharmonic, a violinist from the Vienna State Opera Orchestra and a grandiose pianist perform music from a wide variety of epochs and genres, impressing audiences with their virtuosity, modern expressive dynamics and unique sound aesthetics. In doing so, the noble »Viennese style« refines their multifaceted repertoire. Both fans of chamber music and those whose hearts beat for the high art of arrangement are at the right address here: Robert Schumann's Piano Quintet in E-flat Major, op. 44, will be followed by musical highlights that will be performed under the motto »La Bohème. From opera to chanson«. A journey across the world of Italian opera and French chanson - with in the luggage: an irrepressible joy of playing!
