40 Years of Musica Juventutis
Over 450 prize-winners and more than 170 concerts: »Musica Juventutis« has been a permanent part of the Vienna Konzerthaus since its first concert on 9 November 1983. The passionately pursued mission of promoting young talent is bearing fruits. Many musicians who once emerged victorious from the selection games and won a concert performance in the Wiener Konzerthaus, including ORF broadcasting, are today stars of the international music scene. These include Till Fellner, Clemens Hagen, Angelika Kirchschlager, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Emmanuel Tjeknavorian. The latter will take the podium at the anniversary concert in October. It will be performed entirely by former »Musica Juventutis« winners: They will be part of the specially founded anniversary ensemble as well as soloists. Ad multos annos!
