Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

Lucie Horsch

When she performed Brahms' 5th Hungarian Dance at the age of nine, she first attracted attention in her native Netherlands. Today, Lucie Horsch is a multi-award-winning recorder virtuoso: she received the Dutch Music Award, the highest honour bestowed by the Dutch Ministry of Culture, and was an ECHO Rising Star at the Vienna Konzerthaus in May 2022. Her debut CD with works by Vivaldi was honoured with an Edison Klassiek, and her follow-up »Baroque Journey« won an Opus Klassik. In autumn 2022, Lucie Horsch released the album »Origins«. On her return to the Wiener Konzerthaus, she will be performing a sample of it with violinist Emmy Storms and guitarist Raphaël Feuillâtre, which includes baroque gems as well as Irish folk tunes and Argentinian tangos.
