Hail to the brass players!
30 years have passed since seven young brass players once got together
for regular musician's get-togethers at Josef Mnozil. Classical folk
music soon turned into applied brass music, basically played without
notes, suitable for all situations: typical brass music, hits, jazz and
pop music, opera and operetta. Without fear, blame and reservations, but
with a lot of »Wiener Schmäh« and great finesse. Since then, Mnozil
Brass has played about 100 concerts a year, filling renowned concert
halls worldwide. And the fire of the blown music never goes out! That's
why the grandiose ensemble around mastermind Thomas Gansch is once again
setting out for new shores and celebrating its brassy birthday with an
anniversary show.
