Symphonie Classique
Classical music is the focus here: Jan Willem de Vriend and his Vienna Chamber Orchestra present two programs, each with a prominent double concerto. The Camerata Salzburg with Janine Jansen dedicates itself to works by Mendelssohn and, under the direction of the young conductor Oscar Jockel, to Mozart and his Spanish contemporary Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga. Guests include the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen (with both of Mozart's G minor symphonies), Sir András Schiff's Cappella Andrea Barca and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra under the direction of our portrait artist Raphaël Pichon. You can choose the latter two concerts depending on the cycle option (SCA or SCB).
