4 Concerts in the Großen Saal
with introductory events in the Schönberg Hall, the Wotruba Salon and the New Salon during the first part of the concert
Room plan in 8 categories (Großer Saal)
Recommended for children aged 8 to 12 and young people aged 13 and over
In workshops during the first part of the concert, the young audience will explore great works: Mahler's first and probably most catchy symphony, Stravinsky's ballet »Petrushka«, which is about a character similar to our Punch and Judy, Tchaikovsky's »Fate Symphony« and Schubert's »Great C major Symphony«, which was praised as »heavenly« by its discoverer Schumann. Experts teach these impressive works to young audiences in age-appropriate workshops.
