Enthusiasm & Intuition

An exciting duo: Renaud Capuçon and Alexandre Kantorow. In terms of age, the two are a good twenty years apart – but this is by no means a clash of two different musical worlds. Kantorow won the Grand Prix and the gold medal at the renowned Tchaikovsky Competition at the age of only 22. The pianist is celebrated worldwide for his virtuoso and sensitive interpretations. Renaud Capuçon is one of the outstanding violin virtuosos of our time. His great repertoire diversity and engaging charisma inspire audiences and the press alike. Both artists are thoroughbred chamber musicians and enjoy the intimate non-verbal dialogue on stage – there is a special enthusiasm and intuition in their playing.
