Neubau vs. Favoriten: 1:1

After a certain point in the late 1950s, the two poet-musicians Gerhard Bronner and Georg Kreisler, born in Vienna in 1922, could no longer stand each other. But on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of their births - Kreisler, the Neubauer, in July, Bronner, the Favoritner, in October - Béla Korény, one of the best experts on both oeuvres and himself a gifted pianist, is now organizing a conciliatory anniversary evening for two. The not infrequently breakneck vocal lyrics lie in the deft throats of musical actors such as Wolf Bachofner and Karl Markovics.
