Magic and energy

»This is not music, it's dynamite!« an Austrian daily found in its review of Shake Stew. In 2021, the formation created by bassist and composer Lukas Kranzelbinder was awarded the German Jazz Prize in the category »Band of the Year International«. Their fifth program, »Heat«, is a mix of hypnotic Afrobeats and ecstatic eruptions of sound. »You don't have to like jazz to love Shake Stew: Lukas Kranzelbinder's band is set on ecstasy from head to toe«, according to the Wiener Zeitung.
