Bach and the debut of a voice of the century

The Frenchman Raphaël Pichon, ensemble leader of his original sound formation Pygmalion, is an international star. He does not correspond to the traditional type of conductor, which has occasionally come back into fashion, but rather to the subtle seeker and creator of meaning in musical work contexts. As the mastermind of his ensemble Pygmalion, he regularly attracts attention and recognition with his cleverly conceived programs. Pygmalion and Pichon return to the Wiener Konzerthaus with a spiritual Bach program and a select group of singers, with the main focus on the Konzerthaus debut of the brilliant contralto Lucile Richardot - a voice of the century!
