Great artistic diversity characterizes the musical work of the Egyptian soprano with the incredibly changeable and nuanced voice Fatma Said. For years she has been delighting audiences with classical music as well as with Broadway songs and jazz as well as music from her homeland.
A broad musical horizon, from classical to jazz to electronic music, is also characteristic of the platform K+K Vienna. The young, independent chamber music ensemble, made up of musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic, strives for the greatest possible artistic freedom and has made it its mission to bring rarely performed pieces back to life.
The passionate lied singer Fatma Said and the experimental platform K+K Vienna show their musical richness in the program »A Sense of Mosaic« with a colorful showcase of musical gems from four continents - from Johannes Brahms, Richard Strauss, Camille Saint-Saëns, Francis Poulenc, Ottorino Respighi and Manuel de Falla to the Egyptian composer Sherif Mohie El Din, Astor Piazzolla and George Gershwin.
