Daniil Trifonov

Since his victory at the 2011 International Tchaikovsky Competition, Daniil Trifonov has had his fans not only in the audience, but also in his own guild: »It's his touch - he has tenderness and also the demonic element. I've never heard anything like it«, Martha Argerich summed up about Trifonov, who has »everything and more«. Since then, the pianist, born in 1991, has been a guest in the world's most prestigious halls; at the Vienna Konzerthaus, the talented pianist has performed both in recitals and as a soloist in orchestral concerts. In his upcoming guest appearance, he spans the programmatic arc with one of Rameau's suites from early keyboard art through Mozart and Beethoven to Mendelssohn Bartholdy's »Variations sérieuses«. For the grand finale, he has chosen one of Beethoven's most radical sonatas: his Hammerklavier Sonata.
