https://www.amatistrio.com/As part of “unerHÖRT, our one-year project jointly conducted with our partner school, 25 pupils from class 4A of the of the secondary school Roterdstraße (Vienna), together with the Amatis Trio, have developed a new concert format according to their very own ideas. The Amatis Trio. performing works by Joseph Haydn, Dmitri Shostakovich and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, was enthusiastically received by their audience of 320 invited fellow pupils. In a series of workshops in the run-up to the concert, the class explored various issues regarding the organisation of a concert. With the help of texts the pupils had composed themselves, they presented some background information during the concert; and conducted interviews with the Amatis Trio. Following the concert, the pupils were able to meet the members of the ensemble in person. Owing to their friendly and open manner, the musicians were able to awaken their young audience’s interest in classical music. It is highly likely that we will include the Amatis Trio in our future regular subscription series featuring lunchtime concerts.
