In the context of „Piccolo“, a series of staged productions from Austria and abroad, designed for children between six and eight years of age, the Dudok Kwartet successfully presented the programme “Quartett! A Card Game with Beethoven”, directed by Rosabel Huguet. In a series of six performances, the young audience was introduced to Beethoven’s string quartets in a poetic and imaginative manner and became acquainted playfully with the involved instruments and their distinct sound quality. Owing to the joyfulness and the excellence of their performance, they succeeded in winning their young audience and the accompanying adults who listened to Beethoven’s music, which was presented as part of a thrilling story, with great enthusiasm
