The sea - the snow from yesterday

Concert Hall portrait artist Manu Delago collaborates for the first time with vocal ensemble Mad About Lemon on his new and extraordinary program, »Snow from Yesterday«: »When I discovered Mad About Lemon a few years ago«, says Delago, »I was blown away by their delicate vocal arrangements. They create incredibly beautiful harmonies that combine the best of lead and choral vocals. I immediately wanted to make music with them, and I'm thrilled that after many songwriting and recording sessions, we can now share the music with an audience.« Delago's handpan virtuosity provides the rhythmic lifeline, creating soulful sounds over which Mad About Lemon's interwoven vocals can sprawl. »Many of my recent projects«, Delago continues, »have been very adventurous, conceptual and environmental. With 'Snow from Yesterday' I wanted to bring the music back to the forefront and create a touching soundscape, which I really succeeded in doing thanks to the magic of the three singers Anna, Mimi and Heidi.«
