Brian Blade: one of the best in his profession

There is hardly a jazz fan who is not familiar with Brian Blade: born in Louisiana in 1970, the drummer is regarded as one of the best in his profession and was honoured with the German Jazz Award in 2021. Brian Blade performed at the Wiener Konzerthaus for the first time in 2003 - back then alongside Wayne Shorter. In his most recent guest appearance, he played as the third member of Wolfgang Muthspiel's trio. Now Brian Blade is making his debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus with his own band project, The Fellowship Band. Together with his band, he presents his latest album »Kings Highway«.
