He is a celebrated star of the international stage: Piotr Beczała is a much sought-after guest at La Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the Bayreuth Festival. At the Wiener Konzerthaus, the tenor shows a completely different side: in his recital of lieder, he explores the subtle nuances of Romantic compositions from Schumann to Rachmaninoff.

The »Gemischter Satz« festival tells stories on all levels on which stories can be told - with words, songs, moods, sounds, sometimes just with gestures; artists of different styles come together. In addition to the Musicbanda Franui, inspiring performances will be provided this year by 5/8erl in Ehr'n, the Schumann Quartet, Trio Lepschi, Patrick Pulsinger and actress Dörte Lyssewski, among others. And during the breaks, there will of course be wine to taste!
