Grinding borders so that they disappear; but also grinding the edges that were forgotten: With the »Tower of Babel« project, Klangforum Wien is building a multi-part tower that, despite the tectonic upheavals of geopolitical conflicts from the Baltic to the Silk Road, makes a fascinatingly diverse composer scene visible. These are positions that are strong and radical, far removed from a streamlined cultural scene. There is a lot at stake here.
