Martin Grubingers «The Percussive Planet Ensemble» eröffnete den Zyklus 2013/2014 mit einem Fokus auf zeitgenössische Musik für Schlagwerk. Friedrich Cerha, Ehrenmitglied der Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft, schrieb extra für Grubingers Ensemble sein neues Schlagwerkkonzert, welches bei der Uraufführung bei den heurigen Salzburger Festspielen begeistert aufgenommen wurde. Nun war das Werk erstmals im Wiener Konzethaus zu erleben. Im Großen Saal verteilten sich die sechs plus vier Schlagwerker.
