»Weana G'müath«

Much has been said about the Viennese mind, the »Weana G'müath«, and its legendary blend of nostalgia and waltzing bliss. Viennese music, however, tells us more about the local population’s mentality than a thousand tales can ever hope to. Willy Büchler and the Strauss Festival Orchester Wien present musical jewels by members of the Strauß family as well as by Johann Schrammel. This year, the program will particularly showcase »pretty Edi«, Eduard Strauß, on the occasion of the centenary of his death.
