Großer Saal
At the heart of the 600-plus-room building is the Great Hall, the flagship of the Wiener Konzerthaus. Its architecture stands for a generous sense of space and classical balance. Since the general renovation in 1999, it shows itself in old-new splendor: technology and comfort were modernized, the concert seating on the first floor can be removed, the distinguished elegance of the room would still be preserved.
There are several large halls in Vienna, but the Great Hall of the Wiener Konzerthaus is incomparable. Anyone who enters it is overwhelmed. The mixture of magnificent historicism and sensual art nouveau as well as its unique acoustics are impressive.
This exclusive setting can be expanded at will by combining it with other halls, foyers and buffets. For example, incorporating the Mozart Hall and Schubert Hall, a gala dinner for up to 1,100 guests can be hosted on one level.
