Wandering between the worlds

Alexander Grassauer is starting the new season fearlessly as a »Great Talent« of the Wiener Konzerthaus in the supreme discipline of his guild, lieder singing. Born in Styria, he was one of the youngest participants in Elīna Garanča's »ZukunftsStimmen« young talent initiative in 2019 and has since sung his beautiful bass-baritone three times - in Göttweig, Kitzbühel and on Gran Canaria - alongside the radiant opera diva. Now, together with Gerold Huber, he is performing his first lieder recital at the Wiener Konzerthaus, presenting romantic travelogues from Schubert to Vaughan Williams.
