Uraufführungen neuer Orchesterwerke von Komponisten des Central Conservatory of Music

Die reiche und jahrtausendealte Geschichte und Kultur Chinas war stets von tief verwurzelten musikalischen Traditionen geprägt. Im Wiener Konzerthaus werden diese einzigartigen Traditionen in einer inspirierenden und modernen Form auf europäischem Boden zum Klingen gebracht. Die Werke, die bei diesem Konzert zur Aufführung kommen, stammen aus den Federn der renommiertesten zeitgenössischen Komponisten Chinas, die am Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) in Peking wirken. Diese Kompositionen offenbaren auf kunstvolle Weise tiefgründige musikalische Reflexionen über Kulturgeschichte, Naturphänomene und die Offenheit der östlichen Komponisten für den Dialog mit der Welt. Das Orchester, das unter anderem bereits mehrfach in der Carnegie Hall in den USA mit großem Erfolg aufgetreten ist, hat international großes Interesse an der zeitgenössischen chinesischen Musik geweckt.
