»Tribute to Miles Davis«
The SFJAZZ Collective is not just a superb music ensemble, but also a creative germ cell of eight accomplished composers, who are among the leading protagonists of jazz and perform in various fomrations up and down the east and west coasts of the US. With its latest project, the band plays tribute to Miles Davis, one of the most influential and innovative figures in jazz and who continues to inspire younger generations. The award-winning ensemble also demonstrates how multi-faceted contempoary jazz is and prove what an internationally successful phenomenon it can be, with the band's members coming from Puerto Rico, Venezuela, New Zealand, Israel and the US.
