La bohème
When composer and pianist Bela Koreny, mezzo-soprano Stella Grigorian and actor Karl Markovics join forces, the evening promises to be unforgettable. Just as unforgettable is the legacy of Charles Aznavour, who would have been 100 years old in May. His chansons such as »La bohème« and »Hier encore« are timeless hits. They tell of love and transience and are spiced up with a good pinch of social criticism. Koreny, Grigorian and Markovics pay tribute to the Armenian-French artist, who was also Armenian ambassador to Switzerland and Armenia's permanent representative to the United Nations, with a musical and literary homage. You can look forward to popular chansons by Charles Aznavour and Edith Piaf as well as inspiring texts by French authors such as Jean Cocteau!
