Subscriptions 2024/25: Jazz, World, Pop & Co

The subscriptions at the Wiener Konzerthaus also offer a wide range of genres, styles and instrumentations outside of so-called »classical music«. For example, you can experience the full brass sound with Thomas Gansch's Blasmusik Supergroup and Canadian Brass with »The Art of Brass«. Strong voices set the tone in the »Singer-Songwriter« subscription. The two cycles »Jazz« and »Jazz unplugged« offer jazz on a large scale as well as in an intimate setting, featuring international superstars such as Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band, Brad Mehldau and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra as well as pianists Emmet Cohen and Danny Grissett with their trios. You can take a musical trip around the world with Marisa Monte and Lura in the »World« cycle, while »Lieder aus Wien« focuses on the broad spectrum of the New Viennese Song. A world music crossover and traditional music styles are on the program in »Spielarten«. The Symphonic Schrammel Quintet Vienna invites you on a journey back in time to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy with its waltzes, galops and polkas. And there will be plenty of laughter at »Comedy & Music«!
