»It's music to make your heart shine.«

Tobias Pötzelsberger is known to a large Austrian television audience as a multiple award-winning ORF journalist - and to a perhaps not so large audience as a passionate singer-songwriter. He can also point to prizes in the latter capacity, which he sees as his true calling - despite all his successes in his day job. Pötzelsberger started out with blues and rock, but soon shifted his focus to the singer-songwriter style. Think Glen Hansard, Gregory Alan Isakov, Ben Gibbard and Bright Eyes, but also Fleetwood Mac and the Milk Carton Kids: this is handmade music, acoustic guitars are paired with gentle pianos, the drums have drive but are never too loud, and you can hear three voices that fit together perfectly. On his new third album »Prudence«, Pötzelsberger is now breaking new ground: for the first time, we hear him with louder and edgier songs. All in all, his latest album is the most sophisticated work we have heard from Pötzelsberger to date. It is new and yet familiar - and the best opportunity for his debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
