His violin concerto is more for a »Caruso than a Paganini«, Erich Wolfgang Korngold is said to have once remarked. The cantabile themes of the concerto are also made for a musical mastermind like Renaud Capuçon, who has been praised many times for his sensitive interpretations. The French star violinist will perform the concerto with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra under chief conductor Petr Popelka. With a Beethoven overture, Richard Strauss' Rosenkavalier Suite and a Strauss waltz, further radiant and lively concert experiences are guaranteed!
