On the second day of their guest performance, Sir Antonio Pappano and the London Symphony Orchestra devote themselves to »Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks« and Richard Strauss' »Heldenleben«. In the latter, Strauss stages his self-love, his love for his companion and the works of peace that he is able to accomplish after his victory over his adversaries. You also have to love the virtuoso interpretations of Lisa Batiashvili, who is back for the second concert evening of the London Symphony Orchestra: this time with the Violin Concerto in A major K219 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
