Viennese Spring

When the trees blossom again in the Prater and the tender buds sprout, spring makes its way to the music capital. To celebrate this, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra will join forces with the versatile portrait artist of the Vienna Konzerthaus, Regula Mühlemann, and Petr Popelka in the Great Hall on Easter weekend. Under the motto "Spring in Vienna," a colorful bouquet of popular melodies will be heard at the festive TV concerts: Robert Stolz's "Flower Songs" can be experienced as well as dances from Bedřich Smetana's opera "The Bartered Bride" or the "Spring Voice Waltz" by the waltz king Johann Strauss (Son).
