Fairy-tale musical retellings

Enthusiastic and inspiring passion is the reason why members of the Vienna and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras founded the Philharmonix: They play everything they have always felt like playing. What unites them is the pure joy of classical music. But their programme goes far beyond that. In their brilliant new versions, they also work on jazz and Latin, Jewish folk music, Hollywood melodies and pop. They extract never-before-heard, original sides from all compositions - and skilfully put together what otherwise does not belong together. Whether the Philharmonix work on pop songs or Viennese songs, Prokofiev or Tchaikovsky, Gershwin or Piazzolla: classical music cannot be more entertaining, entertaining and clever.
