Effortlessly virtuosic

Polina Osetinskaya is known for her well thought-out programs. Music critics praise her to the skies: the Russian pianist is »a musical treasure« and »her feeling for the pulse of the music she plays is as natural as breathing - you can't teach that.« Osetinskaya loves to devote herself to the compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach. She now performs his music in the Mozart Hall in virtuoso arrangements by master pianists of the early 20th century. Seemingly effortlessly, the pianist plays her way through the demanding runs full of energy and enthusiasm and immerses the audience »in the wonderful world of this music« with her »airy, fun Bach playing«. In the second half of her program, she devotes herself to piano transcriptions of Tchaikovsky's »The Nutcracker« and the energetic Scherzo from his Sixth Symphony.
