Premiere with Beethoven's Ninth
This time, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra has entrusted its Principal
Guest Conductor with the traditional series of performances of
Beethoven's Ninth Symphony around the turn of the year. Marie Jacquot,
whom the international press has long had its eye on after a number of
highly successful debuts with leading orchestras, is the first woman
ever to conduct this standard work at the Wiener Konzerthaus - a truly
memorable event!
